I've been running a custom variant with Magecraft. Getting multiple creatures off of replicate cards has made it a lot more appealing. But even then...it's definitely falling behind. Edit: Really would be great with multiple copies through Springheart Nantuko.

Huh, I actually still run Wildfire/Burning and was interested in finding a powered down Minsc & Boo replacement. Maybe this is it? I completely agree with @LadyMapi , I don't love this design or the direction of it. But I may be tempted to run it anyway.

Honestly I had read that as "Other 2/2's are bears in addition to their other types" and I was not excited for it. That makes so much more sense.
