General Big Spell Bullshit (And Other Noncreature Cards)

I'm working on a Cube where I want the following to be awesome:

This leads me to wanting:
–A somewhat slower environment (minus pixie ninjas squirrels)
–A Monocolor or Hybrid* Inclination
–Some sort of rampy subplot?

Some cards that might fit this bill:

I'm sure there are some Lessons to be Learned here as well, especially in Simic. Maybe there are some good stories or part-time pals that could help with this?

A big problem here is also art quality. There are some tough cookies that likely fit the bill mechanically, but they don't leave the lasting impact of a good tale of Fact or Fiction like Leaves from the Vine.

Figuring out a way to cast all these spells might also be an issue; but I'm not exactly sure what type of ramp I should be looking to treasure...

*I don't think Call the Skybreaker would actually be that fun since it's so repetitive, but I think it matches the aesthetic and style of card I might want here.

I've looked at doing this before because the Eldrazi-specific ramp options aren't as good as artifacts or spells.

It looks pretty easy to make work, at least compared to Eldrazi. I think that even 7-8 mana is so much easier to reach than 10. A lot of the cards you listed only cost 5-6. That should be easy and won't require any accommodation other than cutting the overpowered 1 mana threats from recent years.

Cycling/channel cards would probably be good here. For comparison, that new cube I posted uses Open the Vaults and Hypergenesis and Yuna's Decision (and I've considered See the Unwritten). There's several artifacts/enchantments that bin themselves, and cycling creatures allow you to have a greater density of high cmc cards without feeling like the cube is in the mud.

I think if played in a fairer environment that

Has no issue being a fun and memorable casino cheat piece for non-creature spells. Good? Debatable. The original Ron Spencer artwork is amazing imo.

A monocolor focused ramp accelerant I like is:

Narrow for sure but might be what you're looking for.
