Card/Deck Birthing Pod

Not sure what to do about CT because it won't actually have accurate list information. If I include all the cards people are going to think I have a weird 460 card clunker, and if I sample a list and hide cards in the sideboard I think people will only look at the main list.

You could tag cards in the main cube and the sideboard, e.g. "Variable W1 (See sideboard)". Unfortunately, CT's developer isn't part of BTP and hasn't implemented any of their ideas. :(

Edit: it might be worth uploading the 460-card mess as well. I know all of the cards in the spreadsheet, but the layout makes it hard to consume the full contents of the cube. CT's filtration system is also helpful to parse info. I would use the CT for a ... project ... I have in blueprint phase.

I like both Jason's spoiler and Chris' idea.

Even just having the option to hit the 460 card mess would be helpful for the reasons he mentions. If you're concerned about perception of your cube, maybe just don't label it/don't use your main account?

Visually, it would be ideal to have your list in a classic visual spoiler, except for the variable slots. For the variable slots, make the image a gif that slideshow cycles through all of the cards for that slot.

The issue is, I have no idea how you'd actually go about doing that, OR if it would be easy to change when you want to (inevitably) tweak your list.

There's no way I'm going to pull this off. :(

Not to go against the .gif idea, but if we have like 9 cards for 4 slots it's not going to turn out very nicely I think. I also don't have the skills to do it. In the meantime, I have a very rough draft of a visual spoiler for my list.

I can add more logic to it, maybe you guys want all the polyslots after the guaranteed slots for each color combo. Not sure what's best.

I actually don't like my first draft. Cards are split up into too many chunks, and you can't easily tell which are the guaranteed cards and which are the poly slots. Here's a new attempt. This time, I first sort the mono-color sections into the guaranteed slots and the poly slots, then generate the visual spoiler. Now you see the big chunk of guaranteed slots for each color, followed by the flex ones. Also added information on how many cards are eligible for each poly slot.
