General Changing Keywords to make cards competitive

So far I’ve just been telling people that this is a thing in my cube, and briefly why (“because protection sucks”) and even though sometimes they complain, it turns out they still play and still take the swords.

I think that as the cube designer you have to be able to exercise some level of fiat over your format. After all, if you’re spending all this time and effort on the design and your players aren’t, you’re going to know what’s best even if they don’t necessarily agree.

hahaha yeah. I'm not articulate enough and ingrained in card theorem to REALLY have a back forth discussion on Design vs Development..... though if i do more research could make it sound good.

How are you supposed to get any better at it if you can't try your ideas?
