I've started a Youtube series on building a cube from a bulk buy, and I've got a question for the community at large. Right now I'm releasing 1 episode a week dedicated to each of the colors as I'm building them. They're long, and as I'm still inexperienced take me a good while to edit. But there is a natural stopping point after I've sorted all the cards and have a rough outline, before I upload the list to Cubecobra and start making cuts. If I stopped there, I could probably edit the easy half during the week and upload a second video on Fridays.

It's not often that I watch content that lasts longer than ~15 minutes, but only focusing on cuts sounds like you're skipping over the interesting stuff. Cuts are probably the most boring part of cube maintenance, unless there's a particularly good story behind the cut!

On the other hand, if your target audience is new cube curators, explaining why you would want to cut certain cards can be very informative :)

Sorry, yes, you've got the right idea. My target audience is for people who are cube curious!

The premise is opening a bulk buy off of eBay and trying to build a cube with the random assortment. The first part of a given video is showing all of the cards opened for a color, using speed-ups and cut-ins when necessary. This'll give me a pile of about 100-150 cards that I then add to Cubecobra.
The next half (or other video) goes into pouring over every card, with a brief description as to why to keep it in or cut it. This is what I consider to be the more important part. I didn't just want to build a cube and be like viola, you can do it too. By explaining the methodology I'd like to empower others to try it for themselves.

Plus, there is a dedicated audience who already watch bulk buys for the value, why not try one for the play-ability!
