Not really cube-related, but I figure this is an OK place to post this:
I am trying to put together 2 duel decks that work well together and can provide rich back-and-forth gameplay. I thought that an interesting way to frame this would be a race between the RW aggro deck resolving an Armageddon and the UB control deck resolving a Damnation.
What do you think are some key parts of this match-up? I am envisioning a tension on the part of the RW deck between over-extending and hedging against wraths, as well as complex decisions resolving pushing damage through with burn spells. On the part of the control deck, I am thinking that it would be good for decision-making parity to have the deck operate more as a tap-out than a draw-go strategy.
Anyways, I am just looking for any ideas that you think would make for a very intense aggro-vs-control match-up.
