Is it carving? Looks more like pyrography to me (not a criticism, just an observation. Burning the image seems very appropriate for dragon themed art).

I think it's a mix of both. He definitely carved into the bark to create the surface for the part in question.

I'm just doing it on draftsim and the mix of domain plus off-color Kickers adds a lot of tension and desire to splash. The fixing is good, but not great, which really makes you consider if you want to branch out or not.

I feel like this is the first format in years where you don't get pressured super heavily and board presence isn't quite as important as we're used to these days in limited. Urborg Repossession is one of my favorites so far. And I haven't had a deck yet without at least one Talas Lookout, people undervalue this girl.

Do you know how textured foil looks like?

Visually? It's very similar to the regular foil, maybe a bit glossier on the art. The texture is small bumps and only on the text box/maybe frame. It's actually fairly aesthetically pleasing. I don't think it would be easy to tell once double-sleeved, but I haven't tested that.
