Card/Deck Red Delirium Rush

With Duskmourn came gruul aggro delirium, intruducing enough early drops to consider putting in a small Red Rush Delirium synergy/Madness package

Let's look atthe payoffs

Powerhouse and enabler

Stupid card

Always good, other decks will fight over with the dedicated dilirium supporter because the floor is good enough

A lot of 1 mana cards go well into this theme, also aggro red usually has 1mana burn spell

4 damage beaters

Somewhat iffy but can push solid surprise damage

There are also these guys that go in a slightly lower power and slower enviromnet but can be solid there


In terms of the power level I can see these guys playing across different cubes

DRC, Pyrogyf and Unholy Heat can go in legacy powermax cubes

All but Pyrogoyf (too good) the last 4 [and maybe violent urge] can go in most lower power cubes

the bottom 4 can work well in retail-level ones

There's also Rollercrusher ride, but I see that card as a multiplayer card, made for big high resource games, and not the usual low resource decision-rich environments most cubes want to create

What really interests me is that every single red card with delirium can have a home in a cube, and all the designs are bangers after bangers, something other colors don't have (Pick the Brain, Miggt beyond Reason are just...why?)

There's also the fact that finding enablers of delirium have always been an interesting puzzle to me. In the rush deck imagined here,we want to get online fast. Waiting to have a creature die, an insatnt and sorcery cast, and yet another type of card gone to graveyard is not even close to viable.

The challenge is finding cards that help the aggro deck with its gameplan while filling their yard with different card types.

Fortunately, red provides an arsenal, again scattered across the power band.

The need for getting Artifacts, Lands, And Enchantmets into the yard provides a puzzle with a myriad of possible solutions, some of wich are artifacts, enchantments and lands themselves.

There are obvious cards that work well with the theme like fetch/cycling lands, seasoned pyro, faithless looting and Inti, but these guys are so good by themselves the others will fight over to get them regardless of caring about delirium, so I dont count them as "supporting" delirium, but it's another nice thing that these universally good red cards also synergies with the theme

Admittedly low power and clunky, but does the same. Has the stars-aligned potential to do serious work alongside thermo-alchemist stuff, but mostly just a dream

Getting both a land and a sorcery into the yard for 1mana, getting you half the way there by itself (you'de be surprised how less frequent sorceries are compared to instants, specially at high powerlevels)
