0-2, very fun games! What a grindfest though, I wish I'd built something with a bigger/bombier top-end.

I got to go first in the draft and picked the bottom row trying to get some value blue cards. The next pack Safra gets all the blue cards so I go for the green cards and fixing. I then realise Safra is mainly just picking good cards at this point and being 5 colours it is going to be hard to do, so I cut the fixing. HARD. I end up with a deck that is almost entirely non-basics and value guys:

You should be able to watch the games on Safra's twitch as VODs so I won't bother writing up all of the game.

Game 1:
I get to Vendilion Clique Safra after she has removed my two early threaten and see this:

She currently has no white source and only one blue source. I take the Sidisi as I have little to no removal. A Liliana, Heretical Healer is ripped and keeps the race even.
I then become the tempo player keeping Cyclonic Rifting the Archmage to keep the beats going (I got it back with Eternal Witness). I get an Evolutionary Leap and can start swinging in freely and sac off the blocked creatures for better ones.
Safra drops a risky Dark Confidant on 6 life as a chump blocker. I drop a Huntmaster and pass. She hits Titiana, Protector of Argoth going to 1. Plays some more chumps, I just pass on my own turn to let the huntmaster flip and kill her.

Game 2:
I brainstorm (on Safra's end of turn with a fetch up). I see a Lotus Cobra and decide not to crack the fetch. I don't know if I should ahve done this on my own main phase before, but anyway... Safra Fact or Fictions in response and gets this:

She had all her colour sources already, so, how would you split it? I did all land/all spells and Safra took the spells pile. Was this also correct? Interesting options...

Safra is on the aggro plan this time beating me down, but I have plenty of gas in hand. I drop Swagtusk and pass and Safra is curious as to what all my 'gas' could be. She Thoughtsiezes and sees this:

I don't need to bluff with this power ;)
She takes the BBE, and I just start throwing down 2-for-1's while Safra is using 1-for-1 removal. I even draw my Eternal Witness to get back the Mystic Confluence to rub in the obscene value and grind out the win with Yasova and 2-powered dorks.

Games were great fun. It is a very different dynamic going back to a 5-colour grid draft after all the 4-colour ones I have done. I think it helps that you have a lot of fixing in your cube and gold cards that people still do a lot of cross-colour drafting but in normal lists it would go back to each drafter being in their own colours and the decisions become less complex.

Mystic Confluence is still busted and I am glad that you have since taken it out of your cube.

Really happy with the games, was good fun. I'd be happy to do it again whenever.
