So clearly, this post by Jason is insinuating that this card reminds him of Hagrid, who regularly stood by Neville Longbottom any time Malfoy attempted to hurt Neville's feelings.

I think the joke is that he intentionally picked an overly convoluted wrong explanation. Like it sort of works but it's really much simpler than that.
