I heavily support counters (plus, minus and energy) in my custom Pokémagic cube and for +1/+1 counters, since you want to place them anyway, the best payoff seems to be proliferate. It's also open ended with charge counters and whatnot. So I'd look for a couple low opportunity cost proliferate...

Thank you. I didn't convert to cube to hear people make power level judgments. At the last draft table I also heard two guys claiming that a card was "not good enough for cube" as if that made any sense. It made no sense in 2012 and it's a real crime to still say nonsense like that in 2026...

Almost perfect I think, but I'd consider giving it flash to make the blue mode more useful on it's own.

Yeah, I guess it kinda sucks to play with low effort proxies, but they should at least allow mpc quality.

We're still far away from the US with hundreds at cubecon (and god knows how many small events). But at least we can bring proxies for main event cubes! (Unlike cubecon, as I learned. Wth, man.)

On my way to Cube Open Potsdam. It's really cool that we now have three regular, yearly grassroots cube events in Germany. And maybe soon it'll be four.

It's just that there are like 30k real magic cards to choose from, so I don't think any cube needs alchemy proxies.
