I wish there were more artifacts that turned off when tapped. Cards like Howling Mine, not like Winter Orb, so it can be a fun thing to do with stuff like Improvise, Warterbending, Ensoul Artifact+attacking and such.

Regarding vibes and art, SOK, like the whole Kamigawa block, was one of the all time best sets imo. That makes it even more painful how bad the designs were, mechanically, for huge parts of the set. Like other said before, it really feels like the theme was "prevent people from playing the game"...

Unable to Scream also has that going for it. Giving your opponent a toy ninja/dinosaur/whatever is fun too.

Mastery should be playable in all but the highest power level, but it would probably also never be much more than a C/C-. Strike is worse. Both get better in fast environments I would say.
