This. I like this. It's a little hard to squeeze this into a deck, but if you can make the mana work... This feels pretty solid — it's basically an artifact Beskir Shieldmate with a TON of upside.

Anyway: This is a cute design — I think it's a little overpriced (it's basically a Fireshrieker with a small upside), but I think this does cute stuff in any deck that cares about equipment.

I am perfectly aware of all of this... I wasn't being entirely serious when I referred to it as a 2-drop. It's a 2-drop in the sense that Prosperous Innkeeper is a 1-drop or Burning-Tree Emissary is a 0-drop (i.e., with plenty of sequencing restrictions).

Smuggler's Stash - {5}{G} Artifact Lands you control have "{T}: Create a Treasure token". I might have the only cube in the universe where this card is actively broken (I'll still test it, though).

Yeah, the fact that it works with any token is pretty sweet. I foresee it being absolutely hilarious with Black Market Tycoon.

This actually seems like a really sweet card for token strategies — Dragon Fodder effects dumping 4 haste-y power or 6 vigilant power on the battlefield is nutty. It's a shame that the mana symbols are different sizes, though.

I might be the only one here who's actually pretty excited for another set that focuses on Treasures as a mechanic (as you've probably gathered).
