I mean, it turns any +1/+1 counters you might have into +2/+2 counters? And it goes infinite with Devoted Druid?

If I didn't hate keyword counters for being janky as hell, this would be a really interesting card.

Pyromancer of the Flaming Mallet - {2}{R} Creature - Viashino Shaman {1}, {T}: Pyromancer of the Flaming Mallet deals X damage to any target, where X is the number of permanents you've sacrificed this turn. 2/2 Why are we wasting our time discussing the clearly inferior sacrifice payoff when we...

Honestly, I feel like it's less of a silver bullet card and more of a value card. You can use it to turn tokens into real creatures, which shouldn't be that tricky.

Maybe this effect is playable at 1 mana? I dunno. But yeah, Evolving Door briefly made me super excited until I didn't see the words "without paying its mana cost".

Errant, Street Artist - {U} Legendary Creature - Human Rogue Flash Defender, Haste {1}{U}, {T}: Copy target spell you control that you didn't cast. You may choose new targets for that copy. 0/3 Is it cubeable? I dunno. Is it a silly combo piece that someone is going to abuse? Yes. EDIT: On the...

Ah, but in this case I am the global cabal of billionaires who has consolidated all wealth, and who use the fiction of a free market to hide their tooth-and-nail fight against any attempt to wrest that wealth from their grubby, caviar-stained fingers the invisible hand of the market!

YO! Look at this guy. This ungulate gentleman is making me think thoughts of Capitalism. AKA I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to rip apart and rebuild the Capitalism Cube again. Maybe it'll have actual archetypes and themes this time.

Honestly, I hope all of the colors get as much love as Grixis is getting. I'm especially interested in the Naya Go-Wide cards and the Esper "Aggro" cards, myself.

I think you'd slot her in the appropriate slot. :p In all seriousness, I think that cubing that kind of card as if it were monocolored makes sense.

She seemed utterly convinced that whatever movie she was taking me to was totally going to be the exception. Because she loved those movies, so why wouldn't I love them? The one superhero movie she dragged me to that I ended up enjoying was Into The Spiderverse.

I have a friend who forced me to watch some of the movies despite the fact that she knows that I absolutely detest superheroes. They were some of the dullest movies that I've ever seen. I will never have those hours of my life back. Screw those movies.

Yeah, I think that's the objectively correct decision on your part, Onder. Screw those movies for basically existing. Anyway, MTG: I'm pretty sure that this is just a slightly worse Grixis Panorama?

    General Secret Lair Spoilers

Oh, sorry, I just realized the issue. If we were in person, I'd be inflecting the word "scam" to make it clear that I'm joking. I don't actually think that Jukes is running a scam — I think that he's very fortunate that he has buyers for his work, and that he can effectively pull from the same...
