I expect so. I run untapped one-colour fetchable scrylands and I think they're about as strong as the ABU duals. This seems similarly powerful and probably at least as good as the shock lands at scry 1. Repeatable scry 2 is ridiculous; we've seen it cost 3 plus more up front in Crystal Ball...

I'm okay keeping it in a relevant tribe. Two, even: E: v1.1 was Merfolk Shapeshifter, then I remembered that I wanted to do something like Riptide Laboratory in the main cube. Also 2/3 existing selkies are Merfolk Wizards.

I play Time Spiral as my blue control power slot. It's been really good but a positive effect on the format imo. Sometimes control decks end up being too 'cute' and falling apart in-game; Time Spiral pushes a kind of raw density of answers control deck that I think is good to have in the metagame.

Not having haste or trample is a bit of a downer, but I think I like this alongside the red Gearhulk as 'Big Red' top-end. Would be lots of fun with Sneak Attack, but I do think it's probably a dud.

She's not great. The best use is - 2 on a wrath, but that needs her to stick around a turn. 7 HP makes her pretty beefy but it's incumbent on the control player (she only goes in control) to make her live long enough to be worth the investment.

I think just enough so that you wonder for a second. Some hits some misses, of course, but I respect the hell out of the crew there.

They're getting really good at making the fake cards feel real. Props to that crew.
