I think many of us are running cubes where 3-colour decks are more common than you estimate. A Steam Vents is, given equivalent distribution of colours and everyone going 2c+splash or 3c, relevant to 3.2 out of 8 players (4 x 0.8). That's not particularly narrow, I think.

It's really good and I love it one thing I super enjoy about these Emerge-drazi is that you can still cast them for {8} if you draw them late and get the cast trigger, you don't need to Emerge them it's just a built-in easy mode - so RG ramp can and will totally play Deep-Fiend or Mindbender...
