    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

I actually really like Briarbridge Tracker as an extra component in a UG "artifact tokens" theme, based on the one that was introduced in Modern Horizons 2

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

Probably WB to be a sign post card, no? Edit: incidentally it kinda works in a WB humans deck right?
  3. Rasmus Källqvist

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

Nice observation! Probably, since it's a looting effect on innistrad. Jeskai looting dot deck?

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

I'm not following how it's a pie bend? White and blue have flashback cards like every colour, white gains life and blue does looting?

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

Yeah honestly, always wanted to be able to build a cube around Burning Vengeance and this looks like a nice blue counter part to that card :)

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

I think disturb is such a flavor homerun, more appealing to me than eternalize

Hm I guess you could just retcon the old werewolves to use the new mechanic in a given cube

Hah it also costs 8 mana, and at that point in the game you could be in top deck mode where you both each have a 3/3 in play? It's very swingy but I think it sometimes will just do nothing.

Hunted Lammasu Hunted Phantasm Hunted Horror Hunted Dragon Hunted Troll Maybe we'll get something like "hunted werewolf"?

Hm, I think going about enchantment as a tribal theme is probably the wrong way to go. Delirium is a good example of when having enchantments in your deck gets rewarded. I think probably the same is true for devotion? Rewards you for having more permanents in play rather than playing spells that...

We've had threads about this from a while ago that could be dug through, might be some numbers there somewhere: https://riptidelab.com/forum/threads/how-to-execute-a-minimalist-artifact-theme.681/ https://riptidelab.com/forum/threads/how-to-execute-a-minimalist-enchantment-theme.865/

Haha OMG imagine a B&R update with "The One Ring has now been banned in Modern, Legacy and restricted in Vintage"

Haha honestly I'm all for some cyberpunk kamigawa. What a nuts idea.

    General Fight Club

I'm not arguing against that, but excluding a good card that mills you in fear of losing a good card is a beginners fallacy so I wouldn't not run Grapple with the Past based on it milling you, is my take on it.

    General Fight Club

Hmmm while the psychological effect is real, in practice milling modulo actually using the graveyard is the pretty much the same as just shuffling your deck. Milling a cool card that you can't utilize in the graveyard is like having it on the bottom of the deck, so the milling compared to...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Doesn't this just slow the game down in a kind of uninteresting way?

Now this is a card to add to a cube that you can then call "THE EXPERT CUBE"

General Alternate Wins in Fair Cubes

Oh man. You could remand your own approach, and cast it again to win in 2 turns instead of in 7 turns.

Also who's voting Labman? Isn't that like a really fair kind of combo. You can kill the poor guy!
