Lol, it's just because of how I do my picks. I use one tab of my thread to look at the visual spoilers, one tab to paste them into my edit of my post, a third to quote the post from, and have another tab for Modin's thread. Evidently this is what happens when you quote multiple times...

Sure--by going over the top, I mean that in my draft, few cards looked as if they could generate an overwhelming advantage, which is generally where midrange and control want to be. This is to say that a lot of my choices felt as if they were between different flavors of incremental advantage...

Looks cool! I drafted a RW Heroic deck that I think kicks ass. Payoffs seemed to cluster in RW with enablers in GW--maybe find some ways to spread the love around? The power band feels a little wide to me (Pyromancer's Assault and Glassdust Hulk seemed a little low, although now that I'm seeing...

That was exactly my thinking as well--they're cool cards, and Alara was when I started playing a lot, so they hold a lot of nostalgia for me. It seems like a really fun way to push 3/4/5c aggro, so props for giving it a go!
