How mega ultra slow do I need the cube to be for this to be even the slightest bit viable:
life from the loam
+
Hidden Courtyard
Hidden Cataract
Hidden Necropolis
Hidden Nursery
Hidden Volcano
Now that we have reprints with different art I suppose one option, if you still want some kind of uniqueness, is to run one of each version.

I'm more than ok running middle earth cards, a lot of them are fantastic. Might go ahead and just run both the LotR cyclers + one of the 2 mana cyclers tbh. I'm brewing up a lower power cube ATM, and I just love cycling-fatties so much.
Here's silly fight for low power land cyclers:
Furnace Host Charger vs Seismic Monstrosaur vs Oliphaunt
Oliphaunt does have the benefit of cycling for 1, but I do like the ability of drawing cards from lands too
Uhh I really like this. This seems legit pretty strong? I mean, a glorius anthem on your turn only for 5 mana is NOT great, but turning cantrips into team wide tricks does seem very good.
Edit: ok 2 minutes later and I already feel like it's probably just ok. But still! Cool!!
Eh how do you even figure this?
1. Get a land in the graveyard turn 1 or 2
2. Play Undergrowth Recon on turn 3
3. Start turn 4
4. Put land from graveyard to the battlefield
One way out would be to word it like, "At the beginning of your end step, if this creature isn't a token and you created a token this turn, create a token that's a copy of this creature"
Hm, depending on how many creatures already put counters on themselves I think Scales presents the most lethal curve. A 2-drop promising to boost creatures might just be too slow to play the same role as Scales? I feel like Ozolith would have to be played on turn 4?
