    General Cube Pack Wars

I've seen variations where each player make 3 10-card decks (like pack wars) each from a 90-card sealed pool. You can sideboard whenever but if you do sideboard you retire the cards you take out. If you lose with your deck or win with it twice you have to retire all the cards in it (including...

Yeah I 100% understand that. Jazz (as a trombone player) really does it for me. I also relate to your point about a lot of stuff requiring "genre background" before you can really get into it and enjoy it.

But the issue with that, is that there are fans who have spent a large amount of time and effort carefully curating draft environments (ie. peeps on this site, and probably elsewhere). So the disappointment stems not from "wow there were no good entries because fans suck" but from "wow the...

Right? God-tier keyboard solo if I've ever seen one. Also, I love that they have a live audience with them in the recording studio.

This song has been stuck in my head all week/weekend. It's pretty sweet though, if you're into some jazz

    Article ChannelFireball: Utility Land Draft

I kept a penny sleeve with the 10 temples proxied in them, then wrote over a basic plains "Temple of Choice". Upon selecting the temple, I slid the paper proxy over the plains, and boom, temple of choice. I keep my ULD in a binder, that helps a lot with the organization.

I'm not sure if you understand what the "poison principle" actually is. You're throwing it around to describe things that are certainly not parasitic. A set of cards which violate the poison principle do so by adding value to a single, focused strategy while providing no value outside of...

This isn't right either. In a N deck, Nx fetchlands can do many things outside of fixing mana. They synergize with Brainstorms, Top of Library manipulations, and landfall triggers. They fuel delve and thin decks of lands. They can power Tarmogoyfs, Deathrite Shaman, Grim Lavamancer, and Delirium.

I disagree with this, actually. I think on-color shocks are much higher priority than their corresponding fetchlands. Reason being if you have an on-color shock, then all fetches containing one of those colors (there are a lot more of these) become much stronger for fixing your base colors...
