The list doesn't suck without Murk Eye, but he's suuuuper powerful and he steals games, which is something you're going to need playing Wild at a high level. There is a bit of incidental Murloc hate going on, though not to the extent that there is in Standard, which is why I abandoned the deck...

Reno Mage - This is the list I hit legend with this season. My go to bread and butter. Secret Anyfin Paladin - This is a pretty sweet midrange list that has an insanely powerful combo finish. Malyrogue - What I switch to to punish Reno Priests and Warlocks and Jade Druids if I queue into them...

Very, very good. Almost single handedly wins control mirrors. She's better than Cairne because you can play her on 2 and gain tempo against the aggro decks. People are starting to catch on, though. A week ago, I was the only one running her as far as I can tell. Now I see Reno Mages with her...

As a side note, Pyros in Wild Reno Mage has been exactly as good as I thought she'd be.

    Sets Amonkhet (AKH) Spoilers

Oh Jesus I might barf. That's so gross. In other news, after not having played Magic since the Aether Revolt prerelease, I casually 4-0'd with a pretty mediocre pool. I ran a black/white zombie tokens deck that completely lacked any decent rares except for Oracle's Vault and Anointed...

If it makes you feel any better, you're only about 200 dust away from throwing some Piloted Shredders and Sludge Belchers in there and taking that list to Wild.

I'm hoping the ludicrous number of beasts manages to bring Hunter back. A good midrange hunter deck with lots of beef and deathrattles makes my inner Jund player happy.

Safra made a Wild convert out of me. I hit Legend for the first time ever in Wild a couple days ago, largely thanks to their advice.

I mean, there's a reason Avacyn Restored is considered one of the worst modern draft sets, and the loner theme is a huge part of that.

    Sets AEther Revolt Spoilers

I got utterly destroyed by Heart of Kiran in the first game of my prerelease. Dude dropped it on turn 2 into the UG 3/2 that cantrips and gives you energy. Turns out that a turn 3 Serra Angel is pretty busted in sealed. That may be coloring my decision making. It's possible Mobile Garrison is...

OH right. I forgot to include that, and that was the entire reason I wanted to be white in the first place. Need to find another cut for it. Hazards of building the deck on a computer without being able to lay the cards out on a table like I normally do.

Huh. My build of Onder's pool is completely different from where everyone else went. Twos 1 Baral, Chief of Compliance 1 Countless Gears Renegade 1 Trusty Companion 1 Heart of Kiran Threes 1 Deadeye Harpooner 1 Ghirapur Osprey 1 Glint-Sleeve Artisan 1 Hinterland Drake 1 Trophy Mage 1 Chief...

    Sets AEther Revolt Spoilers

Casually 4-0'd my prerelease this morning, which felt pretty good considering I haven't played Magic since the Kaladesh prerelease. I also ran a 16 land special, but in a very different way than Kirblinx. See, I subbed in Renegade Map for a land, figuring that it was basically Evovling Wilds but...

    Card/Deck Archetype Spotlight: B/W Humans

I feel smart because I'm already running 90% of the cards in this thread. BW has always been one of the strongest aggro color pairs in my cube, possibly stronger than red.

I actually like Fatal Push for my cube because I don't run fetchlands. It reinforces the sacrifice theme in Mardu by giving you another incentive. I'm fine with a powerful removal spell as long as you have to do some work for it.

    Sets AEther Revolt Spoilers

Well, there's the difference. I'm not supporting energy 'cause I feel like you have to go whole hog on it and it'll end up dominating the cube. Also, I don't really like vehicles, so I'm not including any of those. I kind of have to comb over what's left to try to find something interesting.
