tbf i LIKE waifu art and i think the crop is a little weird. art would have likely looked better if displayed vertically as in borderless frame treatments. the uncropped art is probably really cool tho

pretty cards

we don’t often agree on card evals but this was very well said and i feel the same way. i actually ended up buffing the card for these reasons

robber is pretty cool and strong. monke reigns supreme in power ofc… the other two are pretty bad cards if that’s what you need for a specific environment

i just realized why i like Uurg so much- it kind of reminds me of Knight of the Reliquary

you still have to draw fastbond/exploration and the lands to have 5 lands in play ahead of schedule. id want a LOT of 1-2 cost cards that either help me do that or slow down my opponent so i don’t get too far behind while assembling my combo

a continuous source of surveil that dodges a fair bit of removal AND beats hard is just really strong EDIT: costing 2 more is NEVER negligible IMO

i kinda think uurg might be better than gitrog due to being almost as big and costing 2 less

i actually think it depends a lot. Uurg’s surveil ability reminds me of the virtual card advantage you get from DRC or Radha, Heart of Keld, and the fact you can keep bombs on top can be big. also he got a huge butt and gets enormous as a beater with fetches or wilds. the spider regrowth is nice...
