How close is Subcontract to playable do you think?

At the moment I have a mixture of all different styles so each drafter can take the one they like, but then someone will take the ones I like before I get a chance and I have to cancel the draft and go home. I'd like to avoid that situation which is why I think I might get uniform basics.

I cut Bloodline Keeper because he's pretty slow, although unopposed he'll take over a board by himself. If your cube is a bit lower power level he can be a legitimatebomb, as he was in Innistrad draft.

Whilst I'm here, does anyone play Vial Smasher the Fierce

My reasoning is that if eg Maelstrom Pulse is going to be the same as Oblivion Ring 90% of the time, and I run 50 white cards and 4 green/black cards, why take up the space in the gold section that could go to something more interesting.

That card seems completely insane. I have to try it.
