Kirblinx's MTGO Adventures + Sometimes Cube

I've been playing Palace Jailer in Death and Taxes in legacy, that card is super cool and finessing a window to land it unopposed is really interesting.

I'm heading up this evening with my own and my newly put-together penny pincher cube. I should be around all day tomorrow and for Sunday morning, I'm not playing the main event so hopefully plenty of cube to be had.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

I play mass as well as the other two and it's been alright. Dodging sorcery speed removal, especially Wildfire, is pretty relevant and with Cloudposts you can pump it up pretty big.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

I found Trinket Mage got way better with Hangarback Walker and Walking Ballista. Letting it get a finisher keeps it relevant through the whole game.

Voyaging Satyr is also sweet with utility lands. Untapping Gaea's Cradle or Nykthos is a big game.

I don't think the circumstance where you play your four drop on turn 4 and it's immediately answered for less mana and your opponent can make use of the additional mana they saved comes up all that often. On the assumption that you're playing the Ogre in a deck that's pressuring your opponent...

    General The Wishes

The wishes can sort of work as access to a "utility everything" board, with stuff like Tendrils of Agony or Laboratory Maniac being wish targets. I don't think putting generically powerful cards in the wish board is a good idea as it makes wishes a split card of the best options at any point in...

When I was in Amsterdam at the end of last year I had a rice table (rijstable?) at an Indonesian restaurant, I'd recommend that as well. Good if you have a lot of people, they just bring a bunch of different dishes to share.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

It's also pretty cool with effects that want a full hand of cards like Wild Mongrel, Noose Constrictor, Psychatog, Windfall, Scroll Rack, and Keffers.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

I had Compulsion in my cube for a while and cut it for not being impactful enough. It's good when the board stalls out and you can cycle away extra lands for spells, but in practice those situations didn't come up all that often. My cube's definitely not low power though.
