Probably can't happen, pretty sure it'd be the best red pinger ever by quite a bit. Definitely needs activation cost, mostly because otherwise there'd be zero reason to ever attack with it, but also because I think 1/1 unblockable prowess for 2 is already too good. Maybe if it cost 1R to cast...

The buddy-shock interaction is interesting-ish. I could see running something like 30 fetch, 20 shock, 10 buddy in a 450-540 cube.

Had a draft like this friday night. Nobody took any lands, so I ended up in RG colors with 3-4 RG lands, 2-3 off-color fetches, and city of brass. Another player drafted about 10 fetches and 5 shocks and built 5 color. Which was surely a bad plan, but his mana base wasn't actually that terrible.
