    How can you guarantee that every colour pair has an equal amount of lands? That is only possible if you either seed in some boosters more than 1 or the number of boosters is a multiple of the number of pairs you have. I like the fighting over the fixing, but not all players value lands correctly.

    It could also be a land as permanent without a mana ability. Or a new permanent type, or allow a permanent without a type. What is wrong with a typeless permanent? Simply tacking on an enchantment seems tacky. For the gods I get it, they were from another plane. The sleepers not so much.

    Except in the case when you want to reanimate, then the draw can be important. Furthermore, a bit later in the game you do not have a land drop to use out of your hand and then the tusker is (except the trample part) better.

    Tough one. Tanuki properly ramps but does not draw a card. So what do you value more and happens more often? If you cycle tusker when you often do not have a land in your hand than tusker is likely better. That said, the tusker can be clumped all day long… why not both?
