Imo the red confluence is strong but not unreasonable. It trades a -little- bit of efficiency for a ton of flexibility. I'm satisfied with it in my cube, as being a solidly high pick without being overbearing.

I actually think the white, black and green confluences are pretty reasonable. Good value, but not incredibly pushed. The only one that really stands out as insane to me for the cost is the blue one.

Ashiok's real good. She's obviously better in creature-based cubes, but even decks like powered cube will eventually give her a good hit. She soaks up removal instead of your more bombastic threats, and spirals out of control when she doesn't. So... she's basically a PW tarmogoyf.

Very true. I'm not saying this is close to the value that treasure cruise gives, but just noting that immediately discounting it due to mana cost is a mistake, imo. This card needs much more support than TC and only slots into spellslinger decks... but I don't think that's a bad thing! I think...

If we learned anything from Treasure Cruise, it was that overcosted looking cards with ways to mitigate said cost can be much better than they initially appear.
