General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

Oh, I didn't think about broadening my artifacts matter into {W/U}! Offtop: what fascinating cards do you have in mind for UW artifacts?

General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

    Ok, thank you once again!

General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

Clear, thanks. And haven't you tried to pick up some alternative ideas for {W/U}? Or you don't like it at all?)

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

I feel I'm really unexperienced to discuss Delver x) In fact, Spells Matter in our cube is more of a midrange/control archetype. Although midrange must be able to splash into some agressive creatures in a control matchup, but, as fasr as I understand, Delver is a separate strategy.

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

We haven't any experience with it yet, but it seems to be underappretiated in our community

General Getting Started - The Core of A Cube

I have 40 land slots unoccupied

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

Sorry, what is anti-Delver?) I've never heard about this type of deck

General Getting Started - The Core of A Cube

I don't remember if I asked about that already, but how can I make sure that all archetypes in my cube are equally supported at the stage when I have about 10 free slots in each colour?:) It seems to me that I worked at everything we wanted to support, but I still have place. And I don't know...

General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

I've seen people not pleased with his -1 ability. Thank you, I'll think about including him a bit more.

General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

Was it too weak/opressive/narrow for your cube?

General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

Yes, Whitemane Lion looks good as a flashy creature. How do you think, is it better than Kor Skyfisher? I'm looking for some 2-drops)
  12. Karn Cuberated

General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

I think I have a lack of 2 drops for blink. Probably, this gap can be filled in with disruption (counterspells in tempo variation) and Momentary Blink. In {W/U} I have Spell Queller, Venser, the Sojourner and the one I'll probably cut - Sphinx's Revelation Is this guy worth running at all...
  13. Karn Cuberated

General Flickery (Not Featuring J. Scott)

Hello guys! I thought that at last I managed to get done with more difficult archetypes and now everything will go easily. Surprise. Let's get to the point. In what colours do you support blink-flicker archetype? Is it Control/Aggro/Aggro-Control/Midrange? People say that usually you even don't...

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

Thank you so much, your guidelines are very useful)

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

I second ravnic's qustion and add a new one of mine: does Forbidden Alchemy need some special deck for it? and does it fit well into Spells Matter? It just seems to be so good for Control decks (it's like a Fact or Fiction's younger brother) and for Spells Matter in particular (there're cards...

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

Hmmmm... I think, Control decks prefer dealing with opponent's threats via removal to trading in combat. Also, they typically run few creatures, so they, probably, don't want to trade too much. That's what I see.

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

I don't think I'm decent enough as a Tempo player, but Salvager doesn't seem to be a good card for such decks. AFAIR, Tempo decks need cheap and efficient evasive creatures, and this one, maybe, is just too awkard/slow for this type of strategy. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Then I really can't wait to test Summonings) Thank you! P.S. When I saw it at first, I didn't pay attention to its Kaladesh sign and thought it was from some Commander Edition. Probably, that's because it feels sweet and, so to speak, massive) Thank you for sharing your experience!

General Spells Matter: Astonished With a Freedom

Also, returning to Metallurgic Summonings. Isn't this one slow? I forgot about this one when we were talking about Charmbreaker Devils. Summonings cause us to wait for a turn as well. Or I missed something?
