    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Yeah, I cut Monastery Mentor from this cube, because it outclassed almost all other support cards. It would take whatever token/spells/artifact strategy you were carefully crafting and immediately funnel you in a different direction, and it was rarely the incorrect decision. Clarion Spirit was a...

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Sorry for the back to back to back postings. One can only edit a single post so many times. Another route to take the tokens angle in selesnya is one that I have explored in the past: earthcraft Cryptolith rite which makes more sense now with all of the big cycling creatures now available...

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Something that I noticed when writing up the archetype snapshots: Selesnya: I'm not satisfied with the berserkers and creature value distinction. Both want to play a bunch of dudes, and both get mileage out of hand flicker effects. Pump via: resilient khenra faerie guidemother seeker of the...

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Feel free! Drafting your cube was what made me realize how important that quality was for me and my cube. Leave it to me to spend a week writing something and forget to include the most important part. Funny coincidence: I just dropped my wife off at the airport, she had been planning what to...

    Inscho's Graveyard Combo Cube

Phew. Okay! The original post is updated with a primer. Would appreciate any feedback. I'm currently trying to paste the original post here to clean up the first post, but I keep getting a server error message? Maybe it's too much text for a reply?

    Graveyard Combo Cube Rectangle Instructions

Hey sorry I have a quick question, because I'm only just now looking at the draft rules. These two sentences are confusing me. Should I open the .txt file to find out my starting rectangle or will there be additional posts forthcoming with everyone's starting rectangles?

    General Rectangle Signups: Inscho's Cube

I would much rather see more games in action and get different perspectives for feedback than to draft a cube I know like the back of my hand and not be able to play

    General Rectangle Signups: Inscho's Cube

I'm obviously happy to draft, but I don't play online. I'm fine spectating if there's another person that wants to participate and can play.

No joke, my primer draft includes a link to the 2001 extended metagame :D

Guide was maybe a poor choice of words...I don’t want to instruct people how to draft my cube For some context...Several people in my group have/had their own cubes and can appreciate it from a design perspective. All have some experience with cubing and may come to a draft with expectations...

Cool, yeah....maybe I’ll stick with that but with more accompanying text about the cube. It seemed like people enjoyed it. I suppose I can also select cards so that when you look at all of the archetypes of a guild next each other you see more intersections and possibilities beyond what is...

Right. Finding an adequate way of organizing the information is just so challenging. There's so much to say and so many ways to say it! I feel you. I'm currently differentiating between mill vs self-mill vs dredge, discard vs looting, recursion vs reanimation, hand flicker vs blink...lol All...

Experimental Frenzy is also fun with Exploration effects. I'm a fan. I should reconsider it for my cube as cards in hand easily become cards in the yard to profit from. Similar to Onyx, there's: Guttersnipe Which doesn't count copies, but is cheap and can end games quickly if left on the board.

Just bumping this question, because I'm still curious to see which guide formats have been the most useful/enjoyable for folks. I really enjoyed using the archetype snapshot format in the past like: Madness Berserkers: Aggressive deck converting Wheel effects to bursts of damage Wild Mongrel...
