It's "two artifact cards", which is ignore-worthy from most cubes. Still not saying it's (remotely) good, just use goddam Counterspell like a blue mage is supposed to.

So it's like a blue Suppression Bonds! I don't get Talent/Goods -- 4 mana to hit a random card that'll often (usually? almost always?) not be worth four mana? Or, you know, worth any mana at all for board situation you're in?

Javelin was good before the other two were printed (and the alternative was, what, Lightning Blast?)... but yeah, fully outclassed now. Stoke is still the cooler / more interesting card compared to Firecraft, I think, and has the upside of not being $9 for a stupid sorcery speed burn spell. --...

Isn't "reset their hand" just as fallacious as using mill to "get rid of good cards"? Just as likely to GIVE your opponent a Wrath of God as you are to shuffle it away

Note -- I'm also not used to a "heavy gold" cube so it's somewhat hard to evaluate cards like these. Witch Doctor is probably just worse than Looter il-Kor. Not really a fan, but it's a totally fine card in a vacuum. The Vapor Snag variant... dealing 6 with it seems like a mix of sweet but...
