    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

regarding the spell itself, I think it stacks up poorly against what magma jet offers. There are shock variants that I think play better in the slot depending on what your format wants.

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

Even if it happens, is it "format breakdown" or is it "a unique deck happened"? I would assume a "mono burn" deck would still have to contend with the creatures the opponent has, either by carefully metering their burn usage, or by still having some creatures to rumble on the streets.

    General Silver bordered cards

I run them if they help my format the same as any other card. I currently have blurry beeble and have run blast from the past

Yeah you would definitely have to consider the X/X, but at least it has no evasion whatsoever.

    Sets (MID) Innistrad: Midnight Hunt

This is about as close to "perfect +1 counter signpost" as I've seen. The luminarch aspirant trigger, but at a better price point IMO, and with card draw for mid-later game.... geez

If you want the creature-after-wrath you could try phyrexian rebirth maybe?

    General Removal density

This, as mentioned, requires a draft style where the whole cube is still seen. If you are just doing 3x15, the amount of cards seen scales with the number of players, and the ratios of cards seen is randomized. In theory 4 players could see all of the removal from the entire cube, putting the...

    GBS

Interesting. The front information is something that isn't very common on (retailed) seed packets in the US besides, interestingly, Burpee, which is one of the bigger seed packet names in the game here. It is nice for quick referencing/comparison besides just having a picture to compare. You...

Here's a little marketing research exercise I'm doing for the fun* of it. If you were walking about the store one day, which of the below seed packet designs would be most eyed catching to you? Most likely to make you take a look and/or buy a packet? Why? Assume that you are in need of buying...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

wish it could sacrifice itself as a last-ditch option, but otherwise certainly seems playable. That said, what did it do in the decks you mentioned, and is there a similar role for it to fill in your or others' cubes?

Gonna b honest, my brain is still back on like..... Ravnica? Zendikar? (the newest versions) And my card evaluation brain for like EDH deck building is back at like Amonkhet or something. Only cards specific to the razor slice of cube I have a (decent) grasp on. They pumpin' stuff out ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Pretty. Is that a place we've seen before in Middle Earth? I'm not very familiar.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

The 5 mana 4/4 has to be at least serviceable. If the front end isn't anything that you would want, relying on the GY shenanigans isn't going to get you there IMO. Recurring a fleshbag marauder on demand is great and all, but being able to come out as a useful combatant needs to be there too.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

It's quite slow, so you can get around it being repeatable by removing the player using it. I've always liked it well enough.

    General Spell Velocity Themes

From what I recall, it was developed as a more holistic term for "spells matter", or at the very least that's what I've used it for for the past few years. {R}{W} Aggro: Not necessarily spell velocity. May have a very low land count and still cast relatively few cards per turn in the grand...

    General Spell Velocity Themes

life from the loam is the basis for a lot of the "storming" or at least "casting and recasting of several spells at once" that I do in my format, and feel it would be central to the Gx portion of a format based around that sort of premise, especially Gruul+
