    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

First, wanted to thank everyone for doing drafts and making suggestions. The format really is better than it was before, and its reached a very healthy, though there are some imperfections. I ended up adding that wumpus, Alfonso, and I think it looks promising. Chris, thats a really...

You really don't need to cut instant speed removal to support pump strategies. Pump spells can act as defacto counters for damage based removal and good ones can outright counter removal. Having both present in the same cube can create an interesting tension in how you use your spells, with each...

The flashback is one of the big benefits for running rally though. Aggro decks do get flooded, and this gives them a mana sink thats on point with their game plan, and actually helps them comeback from a scenario where they are probably behind due to circumstances beyond their control. Its the...

Another problem, besides the narrowness which Lucre pointed out, is that its essentially a limited card being ran in cubes pushing constructed quality cards. Dictate of heliod I found too expensive at 5 mana. You need a slower environment for it to be good i.m.o.

I'm kind of surprised this isn't getting more attention: Myth Realized Its essentially an upgraded quirion dryad. Its nice to have a vertical grow piece to compliment the horizontal pieces we already have.

The pestilence is there as part of the B/W life pay package, and I switched to assault strobe because its more fair. Battle rage punishes someone for blocking errors there was no reasonable way they could have known about. I really like the wumpus idea.

    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

Ok, just to order some things. I have B/W in a place where I am happy: I ended up going with Eric's paylife control archetype, mixed in with some blink and token strategies. G/R I don't think there is much I can do, and I ended up undoing much of the changes that I had made. It will just be the...

    The 'Draw-a-Card' cube

This looks really fun. I might build along to see where it goes. It would be fun to have a super low power old school format. I wanted to organize some of chris' thoughts on mechanics, to make sure I am understanding them correctly: 1. U/B graveyard exile (skaab based, midrange deck) 2. G/W...

I would, but than I love making lots of goblin tokens and just smashing face. :)

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

I tend to really like treason effects as a tempo play, so I'm always drawn to run a bunch of those cards. Firefist striker looks great. You have a lot of burn already in the list, do you need two more effects? I like the two outbursts, but it would be nice to have at least one more overrun...

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

I don't think you really need to push an aggro-combo deck in these types of cubes. You already have a few protection effects, which those decks like for setting up the lethal turn, and act as conditional counters on removal. However, you would need to run some sort of combat buff, which may be...

    The 'Draw-a-Card' cube

Heliod's Pilgrim looks pretty sick. One cross-over aura to keep in mind is moldervine cloak. There are a lot of really great aura's to grab in each color that can support multiple fun archetypes. However, Shattered perception and dangerous wager seem a bit narrow. Red has a lot of good...

    Rasmus Riptide Cube (360 Unpowered)

It really is less a question of enabling a double strike theme, and more an issue of adding an aggro-combo deck to your cube. Like any combo deck, you'll want to have all of the pieces be independently useful for your power level (don't run fencing ace) and that players have the necessary...

General Decks that have 3-0'd your cube

None of it is. lol... I'm actually hoping that both cruise and cloud of faeries gets banned. The format has become so condensed that 3cc spells lean towards the unplayable now.

    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

:p Pontiff looks good, I'll add it to the short list for when I am trying to decide how to make B/W more appealing. I think it has to strategically tap into: 1. blink 2. artifacts 3. tokens Something of a midrange deck, using recursion to grind itself to a game winning spot.

    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

I have two rolling thunders that are taking that big X spell role (though I suppose I could turn one of them into a fireball and don't need to break singleton there). The guy I was talking with about the R/G draft started off with a copy of rolling thunder, with the intent of going R/G ramp. I...

    The Penny Pincher Cube (360)

So, after getting a lot of feedback. I have a few solutions I am experimenting with. One of the drafters pointed out that the attraction of R/G is being able to combine green ramp with red mana sinks (X burn spells), so I decided to come up with a package that would cater to that. My red...
