The trigger makes me at least slightly tempted. You'd have to be really tribal, though.

It doesn't go infinite, unlike all the other cards (Unicorn, Grumgully, Anafenza, Rhythm, etc), but in return it's a big body and you can pay for the flicker. Tentatively interesting at least.

Heh. There's also a common that's just Abbot of Keral Keep without the trigger if, somehow, you need a Prowess Minotaur Piker [edit, a fifth? That's what Target Minotaur does?!]

I don't know if anyone here actively has a Pauper cube, but if you ever wanted Cauldron Familiar to be a common, somehow, Jumpstart has your back.

The literal first new card we've seen is actually a pretty spicy one. I assume this is a cycle, and it almost feels like Vivid lands in that it'll be "fine" in a two color deck but really pop off in 5c. I'm avoiding, obviously.

Has anyone ever tried Masterful Ninja? I can't tell if "uncounterable, pro-sorcery 0 mana 1/1 haste" is too strong, too weak, or something in between. Obviously best with anthems, Ninjas, and similar things that pay you off for having a tiny creature. Worth noting that it shouldn't keep +1/+1...

Doom Foretold I know somebody was asking about this a while back, I just wanted to point out that Sam Black's SCG article today brought up that you can sacrifice Demonic Pact to your own Doom Foretold and this seemed like the right thread.

Random fact: on the "Wizards plays Magic" Twitch stream yesterday, Melissa DeTora said that Bonecrusher Giant originally had the adventure half cost R and not 1R. Just straight up Shock++.

When are we going to get the cycle where the red one is neither the best nor the worst of the nonbasics? (this being one of the best, imo)

Wish it went the other direction and untapped with 3 or less. Then it's like Prismatic Vista, but better, but worse, as opposed to feeling more like Evolving Wilds, but better in mostly-inconsequential ways.

Every set it's like "surely this green two drop will be great for green aggro, despite it costing GG", I think this time I might actually have learned my lesson and I won't try it.

Farhaven Elf does enough things differently (land etbt but body only costs 3 to reuse with bounce) that I'd say test both, but I'm cautiously on board with the Giant. Big dumb idiot is a nice upgrade to Untamed Wilds.
