    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

It's value is intimately linked to how much that assertive Ux deck is playing with the graveyard. The graveyard has to be an integral part of the deck's plan. I can see it if you want an aggressive UB or UBR deck that runs the full suite of recursive stuff or stuff that runs off graveyard fuel...

Yeah it can be instrumental in getting a key card like a planeswalker onto the battlefield without having to try to bluff out the counter with another card from your hand. really useful!

Hope being a flier can be very impactful (similar to the three you currently do run, which stands out above the other 4 candidates listed). It holds equipments like a champ and everything else an evasive creature can do. Would recommend, and probably will be running myself (for fliers.dec)

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

At leasting in solitairing, I've been quite impressed with this. Flash gives it major combat trick potential , and of course a combat trick that can come from "nowhere" by virtue of being a "force of". (heh). It still feels impactful enough when paying the mana for it thanks to the flash. force...

    General Self-Sufficient Tribal Payoffs

Sorry. The dogpile was certainly unintentional, as japahn posted while I was writing mine. I do actually think treefolk tribal is really cool (I used to run Doran rock in modern!)

{W}{B} Recursive Weenies Finally out of the blue woods, we arrive at one of my personal favorite archetypes to play: White weenie (but kinda eeeevil!). halfway! Gameplan: Fairly standard aggro plan here, but value over time will be boosted via creatures that recur themselves, creatures that...

    General Self-Sufficient Tribal Payoffs

A 0/3 body for {G} isn't that great, especially if we are talking about tribes and the best tribe it is self-sufficient in is "forests". Especially not great needing to list off 7 other treefolk that could be wrapped into a theme, when talking about self-sufficiency.

    General Self-Sufficient Tribal Payoffs

Are you considering the treefolk "self-sufficient" because they technically mention forests?

    General Fight Club

I have no such human theme as of yet. Again, interesting to note that the woe-reaper still does synergize here, as the Usher plops down warrior tokens that trigger the reaper. Edit: the usher also plops down humans. So not necessarily much worse even with a human theme.

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Twilight Shepherd can be really awesome. Probably the biggest potential is off a wrath while she's on the battlefield. Not only do you get every other card put in the grave that turn, but you also keep a 4/4 vigilant angel. Even in a much more tame situation like fetching -> casting Shepherd...

    Sigh, again?

vivien reid I'm thinking this lovely lady is a perfect fit for what my green wants to do. She digs for lands or creatures as needed, and can pop a flier, which is important against UWx. A nice, assertive ultimate rounds her out nicely.

My phrasing was a little weird, but I am asking about these in particular :p. I cant say I'm particularly surprised honestly. Efficient token generation is hard to come by! Usher obviously dominated. Is it dominating enough that there is consideration on doubling up? Out with the Champ in with...

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

The issue is that "if you are not fighting aggro" is really quite the downside. Aggro is already primed to beat control in the triangle of major play theaters, running a card for a control deck that is specifically weak to aggro probably isn't the best. Not necessarily the same power level, but...

It's ok, I've forgotten a large majority of the lexicon of MTG cards in the 3-ish years since I've been seriously involved. :p This little back-and-forth prompted me to scroll through type:equipment on scryfall. Lots of interesting ones out there, but by and large chaff, which is unfortunate...

    Article Lessons from Kaldheim

Really excellent and thorough dive into a limited format's quirks. Interesting to think about snow as a sixth color, but it makes sense and it's literally how they treat it on cards via the {snow} mana symbols. Especially liked the section about RW equipment aggro, as it is something that can...

    Sigh, again?

{U}{R} Spells Tempo Are we really surprised? It's what Wizards wants us to be doing with the color pair, so why wouldn't I? Recursive elements will play in via flashback and top end creatures/spells that recur top-end effects for a finishing blow. Gameplan: Many of these decks end up focused...

    Sigh, again?

Yes, the decks above ended up pretty green-slanted. That is largely for testing Ayula's Influence and could readily be shifted back towards blue in any number of drafted configurations. Retreat to Coralhelm could be a fun inclusion, as it also functions well at opening up the way for attacks if...

    Card/Deck Elite Equipments

Interesting. I only have very limited play with it so far, so it's hard to tell one way or the other, and I don't have any experience with it in a truly "aggro" deck thus far. Curious to see Vulshok Morningstar in your list. Would aggressive decks not almost always favor trusty machete?
