Lash of Malice I think the new Lash of Malice is pretty cool! It can be Disfigure to kill small things, and a Mutagenic Growth to help push through damage on your big things! It's a very cool card.

I think people are cold on this card because it doesn't hit every threat one might want to commandeer in Cubes that aren't super streamlined. As soon as the premium permanents move from being Okos and Tireless Trackers to being Siege Rhinos and Jace, The Mind Sculptors, Tempted by the Oriq's...

Gotta love those one-in-a-million decks where everything comes together and makes an outdated combo actually do it's thing for once.

Farseek, Nature's Lore, Wood Elves, and Three Visits are all neat because they can fix for Typed Duals, making them some of the most powerful fixing ramp spells in the game if you have the correct land package. I especially love them with the Triomes!

Of these three, I think Quandrix Cultivator is the most fun and the most interesting, and probably the most powerful in a Cube context. Growth Spiral is a good card, but it's power level in Cube is not as high as it was in a Standard format with Bant Control and Wilderness Reclamation combo decks.

It's better than Mother of Runes for low power since it's easily removable, but it still has the somewhat troublesome protection for other creatures. I would say it's not good for actual low-power cubes, but I think mid-power environments can accommodate it readily.
