The alpha lands are pretty cheap, or at least were the last time I looked. The Khans fetches are cheap as well but going up, but the Zendikar fetches are pretty pricy as you might imagine. If it's for generating content for CFB, is there a chance they might sponsor some of the cost?

I feel like you could do some sweet stuff with Crucible and Jace/Bloodghast. Whirler Rogue is probably the better pick but I'm in for Crucible.

I guess the idea is to solve the problem of having your commander killed after you've gone to the trouble of powering it up? I don't know, I never thought that was a particularly bad aspect of commander given you can always re-cast it and buff it again, but I don't have a voltron-style...
