I guess it all depends on the amount of coming back from the grave creatures you run and how durdley you want to become. I might've been convinced about reckless abandon, since it promises enough value to draw people into the steal and sac deck to begin with.

I think collateral damage has the benefit of being a trick when your opponent tries to kill/steal one of your creatures, or cheating it with a convoke creature. Feels like you can abuse things more att instant speed.

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

It's pretty fucking fun to play with ferocious on. Might be my timmy side talking. Don't mind flipping my deck over, esp if you end up using the stuff you binned as well.

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

I wish I could add something to this list but I think it's like, Gruul Theft Auto Pod? What is the other idea with the planeswalkers? In what context do we slot it in, Wildfire? I'm curious because there seems to be a lot going on. In other news, I feel like I've come further with the lands idea...

    Card/Deck Golem Tribal

Is it possible to expand on this theme to tie it into something else in terms of artifacts? Right now it looks like a good target for blink, is it even remotely likely that one could construct a Tinker package that is fun based on the presence of a lot of artifact and artifact tokens? IF I...

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

Christ why couldn't this card have decent stats, like a 3/2 or maybe a 4/2 even. I'd love to run it but as it looks right now its just abysmal.

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

I think you can use this approach, but keeping it some elves in might let the wildfire ramp decks and 1drop-3drop aggro ramp (like, hiearach into loxodon, big zoo stuff) be distinct. I wonder what a GR Wildfire deck vs Big Zoo would feel like?

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

Nah, I think we just ended up back here again because of covering all bases. I concur with Wadell about seeing if we can do more with the lands-theme. Lands work great with Titania and Wildfire, so there's potential for some wider coverage. The crux is wheter or not lands is good enough in high...

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

I've seen more people mention it now, is Edge of Autumn really a card? Is it that its just a basic-forest fetching farseek?

Ember Bellower - RR2 RR4: Monstrosity 1. When Ember Bellower becomes monstrous, each player sacrifices 3 lands and Ember Bellower deals 3 damage to each creature. 4/5 Is this an alright wildfire with legs? From the gruul thread, where basically a weak wildfire for 7 mana doesn't really cut...

General Flat Power level vs. Less Flat Power Level

For all the talk we have on this forum about really intricate design and deep themes, in the end maybe the existence of good stuff decks help glue together a cube with a bunch of complicated synergies? Like, every now and then people are going to build these mazes of interactions, but its good...

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

So it kind of expands on the red-black theme of steal-and-sac? How many threatens is enough for that to come together once in a while? 3? 4? I know they help other themes, like the double strike ones , but there's gotta be a pretty fine balance between the right amount and just too many. I...

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

I'm still primarily in a brewing phase so I can't give any relevant input based on my own experience with cube designs in play (I've only played others), but I can see how ember swallower quickly could get lackluster. If we remain in titanland, then, what makes pod decks a GR thing? Like what...

Card/Deck Making Gruul do more than stompy, or make stompy Gruul more interesting?

I think a bunch of the protection spells can come from stuff like spells matter and pump decks, where I think my favorites are shelter and emerge unscathed. Is it really really worth it to double up on ember swallower though? I feel like having it just being wildfire #2 helps mitigate some of...
