Oh it's gonna have to be asymmetrical, for sure. Probably UB=BR, WB=BG, GW, other 5 same. I've been messing with it. There's some good AABB cards in the Abzan pairs to try and keep them separated. May end up not being worth it, but I'm glad I'm exploring it.

I had this and the signet land for GW, but was worried that all 3 Abzan ones would allow A -> CC too easily and undermine the possibility of running additional pips as an inhibitor.

I considered no WB BG duals, but it lost the blackness of Torment thematically.

I don't think that having the potential to use more of something matters in this case. 5C decks can use 100% of Pathways, but I wouldn't recommend trying that. The AB deck can easily fix their second color while the ABC deck will have a slightly harder time. That said, there might not be...

Maybe a good 2c-only land if you ran just those, then? Wilds, etc, has that advantage because it can only provide one color at a time.

Yeah. The Pathway locking you into one color seems better for 2c. How was it not better? I had ruled them out due to DFC.

Lands that function quite a bit better in 2c decks than in 3c? Snarls and checks/buddies without typed duals seem good. So do pains, as you wouldn't want to run too many. Any more?

Would that be a 2C cube?

What the fuck is this for? What are you up to? Why did everyone have so much art ready?

Sounds right up my alley. You get any work done on it? I assume Black is evil? I did my "primer" before most of the cube lol. Wish my actual list would have gotten a little more attention in the video. I think the flexibility of using Endless One to fill out the middle and upper curve is really...

    Sets (MH2) Modern Horizons 2 Testing/Includes Thread

Looks like an alright buddy for Adeliz, the Cinder Wind. I'd be interested in running it primarily for wizards. As a 1/3, it can block 2/1s. That can be valuable. A 2/4 for 2 isn't bad, either. Seems easy to slot into a lot of UR Prowess variants. Naban, Dean of Iteration...

    General The Fixing and I

Maybe I missed it, but has anyone discussed a mix of both strategies? My designs typically have mostly 2 color duals but also include City of Brass, Evolving Wilds, etc. Probably 6-10 five color lands. This lets the splashers splash but maintains the tension in trying to run more colors off the...

General Actual contest: Design a 360 card cube with 100 unique cards

Not sure if you looked into this design enough, but as someone who has dabbled in Torment style cubes, do you feel like this kind of design necessarily suffers from the opposing color fixing? I always found it odd to end up in X and be discouraged from touching Y or Z and was wondering if you...
