I tried to get WB and BG life to work and it's close or barely ready, but it's a lot of effort. You're probably still better off pursuing something else and keeping an eye on life gain releases for now.

Territorial Kavu is such a sweet card. One I really wish I could run. Big body, land-based payoff, hand fixer, discard enabler, yard hater. Nearly a staple, especially if you're doing shock-fetch or similar. Even the RG storm deck can benefit from drawing a spell and discarding a land or something.

If the perfect fit is too tight, you have to toss it sometimes. Not an infrequent occurrence.

The Devotee is more consistent. I don't like that the Bearer has 1 toughness and will sometimes just die without a relevant ETB opportunity and other times it will draw a bunch.
