I'm at it again. Deathmist Raptor I've heard this card was quite the bomb in DTK limited, but there you had morphs at common and uncommon to pick up. In my cube I have "only" 15 morphs, 4 of them in green. Now I am asking myself 2 questions: Is this card maybe too mean in midrange-y decks...

You probably wouldn't even want to use it's ability quite often if it was in my cube, as the exile makes recursion impossible. As long as you have no problem Problem with giving black a 4 mana air elemental with upside (I'm not, but that's my design philosophy), I don't see him being too strong.

Counterspells are crucial for blue as they are the colors only permanent answer to creatures ans all other kinds of spells - especially if you exclude claustrophobia effects. (Which I do because I think they undermine blues weaknesses) I also think strong but fair counterspells make for fun...

I have BGu Dredge, GUrw Landfall and RGu Madness. I think there will be enough room to build nice decks around LftL. And when I go up to 500, there will be fetchlands!

Oh, you're right. I could also see it doing work in G/U landfall with stuff like Trade Routes and Soratami Cloudskater.
