What FSR and Anotak said. Flexibility in cube is desirable, but not when each mode is so bad.

Tectonic Edge will be in the utility draft. 4 copies was the idea. Oh and Dust Bowl. I'm only not running Wasteland because it's $100 and I don't want to run proxies. And obviously no strip mine because... well, it's strip mine.

Having it in the utility land draft I think solves the poison problem. It only infects (pun intended) those who want to use their land picks on it. I see no harm in running super narrow / semi-bad cards in the utility draft. As long as they aren't OP. So maybe you have to use three picks...

Yeah. I probably not then. I just checked and I'm running 37 enchantments in 360 cards (really 400 if you add in the lands that will be in my main cube). So less than 10%. That probably isn't enough to make this card good. You'd need two of them in your graveyard I think to make it worth...

Nice article. I always liked the Urza lands. Now the real question is, can they be added to cube? And if so, how would we do it? Obviously, it would have to be a multiple-of (like the lotus lands). How many do you need to run in a 40 card deck to get a similar scenario to 60 lands...

I played him in a casual deck when Lorwyn came out. I tried to like walkers, I really did. I ran 4 of the 5 originals in decks. And they were all really good - too good (well, except Lili, she wasn't great - the other three were amazing though).

Well played. You got me on the staff. Not to be a sore loser or anything but that thing is unplayable at 6 mana. :) I do not concede zone or bounty. Zone as a ramp spell is worse than wood elves 90% of the time. And the 0/1 tokens are useless outside other pieces. Bounty requires other cards...

@anotak I like those cards you posted, but most of them aren't unlimited card advantage engines. A lot of them are one shot spells (gifts, gush). Some are more about filtering (top) or tempo (parallax wave), not straight CA. Some require a lot of setup to break parity (smokestack), others...

I love utility lands. And moving them to a separate draft is genius too. Now I can run MORE of them without jacking up my main draft. Glorious.
