They were excellent in the Kaldheim prerelease. I've actually thought about adding them to my cube, because these are impactful but fair cards that give some added value to Life from the Loam, Ramunap Excavator and Crucible of Worlds!

To be fair, while netherite is more powerful, it's also significantly harder to obtain. Instead of comparing it to power creep, it's much more akin to the addition of planeswalkers to Magic.
