Is it just me or is this shit? Safron's deck is like 80% lands, both players do basically nothing before turn what, 6? The main worry about this match is a planeswalker ultimate, because the OTHER planeswalker ultimate does nothing because of a single card in his deck (Not in his hand, in his...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

That seems...really dumb... Well if that card is literally unprintable as intended under the current rules, it's a good thing I play exclusively on paper with reasonable humans :p Edit: Yup. Apparently the rules are designed such that Either this or Favorable Winds can exist, and they picked...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Really? That doesn't sound like it would be a problem. It's just something true about your creatures, the same way all your goblins might have haste, so it doesn't really "check" per say. Or do you mean if you have Godhead of Awe in play this thing will still check against printed power and...

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Two ideas: Idea the first: what colors is this card? Deadbridge Chant seems like a sweet card, and BUG in my cube is leaning graveyardy right now, but for a multicolored 6 drop enchantment, it seems quite weak. It's multicolored, and arguably worse than something basic like Honden of Seeing...

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

My issue is that white's overburdened as it is :p Even if delirium specifically isn't the answer, I'm sure I can work out some graveyard based deck that's in {B}{U}{G}. Two quick things though: A) I haven't updated my custom card album in a while. Cubetutor was usually up to date, but for some...

The Dandy Cube (Chris Taylor's Cube)

Okay, so work has come in the way of me really sinking in the hours here that I want to be, but I thought I'd give a recap of the format's goals here. I'm nearing the home stretch of having synergy type decks in each color pair. My pie in the sky goal was to get 5 different shards with a...

You do get a lot more room for mana costs to be moved around in a slower environment. Entomber Exarch is a lot better if you aren't expecting your aggro opponent's hand to be empty or close at that point. Addle is probably fine if you aren't dying when you miss your 2 drop, for eg, etc etc etc...

I've tried Addle before since Cabal Therapy doesn't really work at its best in singleton, variable enviornments like cube. Not really like you can see island, name force of will, etc Does that make it good though? Like whiffing on addle is a shit feeling, but I think it's interesting when you...

Withstand Death Stave Off Shame only one of these gives you evasion :( Though on the whole you're right. Static protection limits what you can interact with in a pretty slanted way
