Part 2 of Rail War. Not convinced by all the bells and whistles, but a reversed Birthing Pod that works from the graveyard is pretty cool. This is a pretty elegant equipment. Not that I run 2 cmc mana rocks, but this is an elegant cycle! It's like suspend, but flexible!

Yeah, this is likely an attempt to weed out the rampant multicolor decks in the format. A lot of them are three colors from what I've seen, as there is some excellent fixing available.

This was exactly what I was afraid off. In testing, however, it seems like this doesn't play out this miserable most of the time, mainly because it doesn't grant lifelink on defense. So, while you're in a stalemate, it doesn't really help you find a way out.

This spell specifically does not punish Crucible of Worlds effects, nor Zombify type of cards. If you don't want that, you could change the wording to a much simpler... Whenever a card leaves a player's graveyard, unless it's exiled, ~ deals 2 damage to that player.
