Can you tell us a little more about why the Bolas horns are important and why you are restricted to two white controller finishers represented by Bolas horns? I know I am curious.
Not really a Single Card Spotlight.. but
Has anyone found a good use for the Lockets in a cube?
Azorius Locket
How about Cluestones or Keyrunes?
Azorius Cluestone Azorius Keyrune
I also vote for Approach of the Second Sun for the same reason as Rasmus Källqvist above me. I run it in my cube and the players love it.
Furthermore every scry 1 or surveil 1 ticks you one step closer to midnight.
Same goes with cycling, explore effects like Jadelight Ranger, Fog effects...
Super is a synonym for ‘perfect’ according to thr dictionary and that was my intention. It can also be a relative word but I wrote it as that synonym.
Happy?
Now can everyone just please chill? There is nothing wrong with correcting someone on MtG-related arguments if that person forgot the...
Yes it is certainly ‘unusual’ and had he only used that word then he wouldn’t be in the wrong and in need of a correction.
Another way of looking at it: If it doesn’t hurt you, then please just grab a beer and let the people who didn’t think Dig Through Time was a callback to an old card have...
If everyone knew Ancestral Memories and immediately thought of that card when Dig Through Time was mentioned, then my bad. If not, then you are welcome.
Define unique: “being the only one of its kind; unlike anything else.”
You can be fairly rich, tall or old. (Relative words)
You cannot be fairly pregnant, unique or male. (You either are or you aren’t)
Edit: This is a stupid conversation. I should just have made a funny non-verbal comment...
I give players 3 Squadron Hawk because all extra birds are free value. I decided on 3 for exactly the reasoning you have given.
However with cards like Accumulated Knowledge and Goblin Gathering the same logic does not apply because the extra copy is not free value. It still has to be drawn...
Tested it and it looks really sweet.
I did not order.
A few thoughts:
1. The guide is good. Follow it step-by-step to learn how to order a simple proxy order. The guide will also teach you most of what I expect to need when doing actual home-made custom card designs.
2. Card quality needs...
I agree with everything above. Good job Chris!
Just name it something other than Brimstone when it is Ice and Fire with draw and damage. If you ask me at least. Brimstone is synonym for sulfur and is a yellow material (if you mix blue and red you get purple which is almost the opposite.) Sulfur...
By the way it actually surprises me that Poker cards have the same sizes as MtG cards.
Metric
MtG: 88 x 63
Poker: 88,9 x 83,5
Imperial
MtG: 3,5 x 2,5
Poker: 3,5 x 2,5
Something is wrong here :)
Well that changes things entirely! :)
So how do we do this? Can we use MSE custom cards and make them attach those files onto a Poker card and make it ready for print? Or does it only work for actual proxies of real MtG cards?
Ah so not a token.
This makes sense although I do not see the purpose of the card :) I would probably also name them Hooting Mandrills // Tendrils of Agony.
So the 2nd half of the card, Tendrils, is Tendrils of Agony but what is the first half?
There exist no card that creates a 4/4 Ape. Nor does there exist any delve card that creates tokens in green.
Are you thinking of Hunting Pack with storm or are you brainstorming new frontiers?
Ryusei seems more fun if you ask me. The card has two big impacts on the game: The 5/5 flying dude and the board wipe. The second impact is just a little more interesting if both players can fight over the effect. “Do I hold back my creature spells in hand?” “Do I Doom Blade it now or wait for...
