Ha! Found a design I'm happy with! This has been good as a r/g ramp target, a sweeper, and an enrage enabler. Love it so far in testing! Maybe 3 damage is a bit too much, but the play is there :)

Or... Arguel's Blood Fast Convalescent Care Thraben Doomsayer Cards that have some effect while "off" / have an easier trigger that doesn't just oops win the game. I like Convalescent Care especially, because it lets you keep using these life payment cards.
