I guess that curse is the best target for Bitterheart Witch ever? Champion of Wits is hailed as the epitome of lackluster eternalize cards, and I'm like: "What. A 2/1 that filters your hand is bad now because the backside is expensive?" Never mind that you get that backside for free on a...

Oh boy! There's enough sweet cards for sure in this set o_O

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

Don't know if that basic clause needs to be there. Without it it's still a worse Explore, right?

    General Custom Cards: The Lab

There's some nice design space left in aftermath cards! If this actually works, that is :)

Thanks! Both arts are indeed from the same painting, first art depicts people trying to flee the scene, which felt appropriate enough. Finding fitting art (from the same artist, no less) is hard enough as it is, so sometimes I'll just take what I can get :)

This has to be good, right?

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

Back when my cube ran way more powerful cards, I managed to ultimate Tamiyo, the Moon Sage with Withdraw and Venser, Shaper Savant in hand. I did not lose that game :)

    Card/Deck Low Power Card Spotlight

For sure, this can give you some mad mana advantage. If they tap out.

withdraw This one is awesome. You get to have a "gotcha!" moment when they tap out, or you can use it to save one of your own creatures from a removal spell / reuse a powerful etb effect without losing tempo.

Thanks for the feedback! I have only done three drafts with this specific cube, but I like the range in performing decks so far. The first draft was won by a Grixis spells matter deck. Among the runner ups were a GW +1/+1 counters deck, and Temur Midrange deck with some nice graveyard synergies...

Switch the removal spells in those two scenario's and you've got the perfect answer in hand, but yeah, we're pretty much living in different worlds as far as our cubes go. Thanks for the input anyway. I've never had a complaint before about a lack of removal, but I'll ask my drafters next time...

There's, like, 10 answers in mono white alone, not counting enchantment removal for the Necromancy. Ok, it's the color with the most answers, but there's some hidden in the multicolor section as well, which is much larger than in regular cubes. Also, overloading on removal isn't something I'm...

It's not a vanilla 7/7, it bypassing weenies has actual in-game impact, and as a 7/7 it's bigger than almost every other card in my cube. There's only two creatures that beat those stats. I mean, it's still a brick, but it's not nearly as useless as you make it out to be. Plus, double Necromancy...

That was my first thought as well, but all modes are serious setbacks. Giving your opponent full control over the choice is always so bad though. It's hard to evaluate... I mean, it's obviously rubbish at low values, as saccing a random dork, discarding a land and losing 3 life isn't too big of...

Hmm... It's probably my environment then, but it kicked some serious ass in my last draft. Then again, there's not a single Titan in my list, and Aetherling got cut for being too annoying to deal with...

Oh, I forgot, but I recently put this one in. Greater Sandwurm It's super sweet! It bins itself and digs for your reanimation spells at the same time, and it's a serious clock that can't be chump blocked. You don't even need green to use it! I was blown away by how well this played for a...

I still like Myr Battlesphere. It's strong, easy to remove, but not useless when they do. Oh, and it goes into black reanimation decks, as well as red artifact reanimation decks (think Daretti, Scrap Savant) and green ramp decks. Anything with Worn Powerstone / Hedron Archive (depending on your...
