    Card/Deck Minotaurs

Love the Wirewood Symbiote suggestion, but sadly I'm running only 5 elves in my 450 list. Since I also run only 5 goblins, Goblin Matron isn't going to cut it either :)

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Turns out I graduated in natural language processing, so semantics is actually an interesting topic to me! Sorry bro :P I'm still curious. We call Kataki, War's Wage an artifact hoser, but you can still play artifacts while it is in play. You seem to have a very, very strict interpretation of...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

We use hosing as "screws over X", and Mindcensor does screw over tutors. It makes them a lot less reliable, making them whiff or finding weaker targets. So even if it doesn't work a 100% of the time, I would still call it a tutor hoser. Anyway, it sees/saw play in the mainboards of mainly Death...

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Do we have a different interpretation of what constitutes "hosing"? Because to me you're contradicting yourself. Edit: Also, staples need not be maindeck cards.

It used to be very good though. I think this is a good example of low supply coupled with price memory. It's also pretty good in Commander, where the stats aren't as relevant but the tutor hosing is. That too keeps the price up.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

It's a staple uncommon in multiple formats from an underprinted, old, third set, that has never been reprinted? Edit: MKM has only 593 Mindcensors on sale, but 2268 Young Pyromancers. It is a pretty rare uncommon. In fact, there are more Tarmogoyfs for sale, now that it has been reprinted...

General Unpopular Fun/Effective Cards in Your Cube

I don't know, I think you'ld be pretty much the underdog if you're only running 13 nonland cards in your draft deck, and Sylvan Safekeeper is not going to help you there :P

I like how you don't even bother to mention Grave Titan :)

General Unpopular Fun/Effective Cards in Your Cube

Inferno Titan was a bit too strong for my cube, but the real culprits that make these cards game warping are (in ascending order of bullshit): Worn Powerstone Coalition Relic Grim Monolith Mana Crypt Sol Ring I'm very happy I cut the first two, and I never tried the other three.

Worse as in worse offender yes :)

    General Pick Order Thread

I'ld urge the cube owner to cut Crusader, as single protection is a bogus ability, and double protection is the equivalent of an unprovoked, vicious kick in the nuts. Fuck protection*! *Unless it's temporary, temporary protection is a fine mechanic.

    Sets [ORI] Magic Origins Spoilers

To be fair, Tutelage can't switch gears and defend when you're losing the race. I still think TNN is a bit worse tbh, as it does impact the board, unlike Tutelage.

    Card/Deck Single Card Spotlight

Fwiw, Magus of the Library is just as bonkers as Library of Alexandria if you tap it for cards. It is a good deal more fragile and hard to cast when it needs to be cast due to its restrictive casting cost and the fact that you won't draw it in your first 8/9 cards because you only run one copy...

    General Fight Club

In your cube, which is pretty fast if I remember correctly, so I'm not really surprised there. Ink-Eyes gets a lot worse if all you do is return 1-3 mana creatures ;)

    General Fight Club

Kamigawa got a lot of undeserved crap in my opinion. There really were quite a few gems in that block, and the lower power level was great after The Great Affinity Disaster of the previous block. Isamaru, Hound of Konda Hokori, Dust Drinker Promise of Bunrei Kira, Great Glass-Spinner Ninja of...

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

Stasis Trap {4}{u}{u} Instant - Trap If you were dealt 5 or more damage this turn, you may pay {1}{u} rather than pay Stasis Trap's casting cost. Take an extra turn after this one. Temporal Stasis {2}{u}{u} Sorcery Take an extra turn after this one. During each player's next untap step...

FoW? I don't see the connection to Force of Will in any of these one drops!

    General Fight Club

I find myself in complete agreement with ahadabans on this issue. Why should one of them stand out particularly? Any one of those "will do", and yes, they do leave room for a Terminate to solve the question they pose. Is that a bad thing? If your control deck can't handle a single removal deck...

General Print this Wizards! (So I can put it in my cube)

Yeah, that was my main concern. Haven't playtested it yet. I chose nonland because it's easier to remove the other types of permanents. You might want to kill your own creature/artifact/enchantment to "solve" this card's upkeep trigger. Might need to be more expensive though. {1}{b}{b} puts it...
