Card/Deck Archetypes - Going Big with BR

It's been a while since {b/r} was supported in my cube, but the midrangiest decks in those colors tended to make use of Void (as a selective mass removal spell), Olivia Voldaren (for late-game creature control) and Grenzo, Dungeon Warden (as a grindy graveyard support card).

Onderzeeboot's Khans of Alara WUBGR Cube

Thanks for the comments :D Yeah, Laz's suggestion definitely paid off, human monks with prowess are much more flavorful than humans with prowess!

Which is why I come back here, I love jokes that go nowhere. Two men walk into a bar.

Okay, so the Myth Realised is a mockup? And you're faux mad at WotC for using the original Brittish spelling because remind me why? :P

The only line of thought that makes sense of your comment is you lamenting the use of "Realised" rather than "Realized", but that doesn't make sense when you read this : http://grammarist.com/spelling/realise-realize/. I'm stumped. Realised is apparently more British English nowadays than it is...

That was my idea exactly :) The cube turned out quite well actually! There's some utter chaff like Claim of Erebos (who put that in?!), but for the most part it's fun drafting, and the archetypes are relatively diverse at first glance.

No, probably not, but I've got Mox Opal, Goblin Welder and Daretti to put some of the stuff into play, and my ULD fixing will probably consist of tri-lands (Crumbling Necropolis[/ci], Arcane Sanctum, Nomad Outpost, [c]Mystic Monastery, in that order if I can get them :)) Golgari graveyard...

    Graveyard-matters cube

Retrace cards (like Flame Jab) are nice. These also work well together with stuff like Life from the Loam and Worm Harvest (which is itself a retrace spell). You probably want to abandon the singleton paradigm, as I really think a cube like this would benefit from multiple copies of things like...

    Card/Deck +1/+1 Counters

Well... the monoblack section is not where my custom counters-matter cards are. I admit there's not a lot going on in black, but there are some nice options. I'm currently fielding these: Carrion Feeder Disowned Ancestor Flesh Carver Skinrender Liliana of the Veil
