just the other day i told a fellow cuber “i will never, ever maindeck disenchant” so that pretty much sums up my thoughts on straight disenchants for BO1. the dino and cathar that sac to blow up an art/ench are both pretty good in BO1 environments IMO

i’ve almost always riffle shuffled my own cube and played with a beer or such on the table, it was physically painful but necessary to learn some manners so i could attend other peoples cube nights

this was actually super relevant in STX limited, where several key creatures had Ward, but one of the premium red removals was uncounterable. it’s a cool interaction if usually kinda niche

i mean, i still do arena drafts because there’s not an actual window in which i can do in person drafting without hiring a sitter, but yeah… nowhere close to the real thing. and i think most people would agree even if they are arena grinders. it’s just a matter of convenience/extra practice...

fwiw arena drafts are actually miserable compared to in person drafting. the social aspect is more than half of the fun
